Anna Douglass, O.D.

Dr. Anna Douglass is a Therapeutic Optometrist at EyeCare 20/20 Retina & Vision Center who offers comprehensive eye care to both children and adults. She has extensive training in primary eye care, ocular disease, emergency eye care, pediatric optometry, vision therapy, and low vision. Dr. Douglass is passionate about ocular disease management, contact lens fitting, pediatric optometry, and dry eye disease treatment.

Dr. Douglass was born and raised in Lacombe, LA. She began her journey at EyeCare 20/20 Retina & Vision Center during her senior year at Slidell High School where she graduated summa cum laude. She continued her education at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.

Dr. Douglass further pursued her professional education at the Southern College of Optometry where she earned her doctorate in Optometry and was awarded “Outstanding Clinician.” She completed externship rotations at James H. Quillen VAMC (Johnson City, TN), The Eye Center (Memphis, TN), and Louisiana Family Eyecare (Covington, LA).

In her free time, Dr. Douglass loves to cook, travel, paint, and spend time with her husband, dog, and family.

Dr. Anna Douglass is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometry Association of Louisiana.
